MISS ZAGATO (LEILA RUSSACK)
Leila was encouraged to pursue her promises of producing her original music after being introduced to U2’s former tour manager Tim Delaney. She formed Italo Disco Synth Dark Wave group Quattrovalvole and released two records on vinyl (Oraculo Records), collaborated on many tracks for international artists like Jepe and Leo Sagrado, and released on labels including Disco Halal and Mood Music.
Miss Zagato (Leila Russack) released this track under recording label Typhoon Records/Distro Kid in 2021. This version is the 'Midnight Mix'.

Inspired by the antics of Medieval Italian Prince Don Carlo Gesualdo. Leila has composed the EP as a modern tragedy. Lonewolf is about men ignoring real life women for virtual click bait. Floating on a Boat is the ghost of Maria Gesualdo, the wife murdered with her lover and strung up on the castle wall. Capital Nothing (Visages) are the gargoyles on the castle, the corpses haunting after Passive Distraction, the discovery of the crime scene. Moda Operandi, is the ghost of Maria, declaring to Don Carlo that her soul will forever haunt the passages of the castle. The use of textures, overlaying melodies and rhythms and prose vocals, this EP Miss Zagato's first concept album since the release of De School on vinyl.
